 Uzumaki
I watched this film last night and liked it very much. It's about a town cursed with an obsession with spirals (such as on snails, food, and finger prints). The people eventually develop snail like features. |

| David Lynch Weekend |
[Nov. 14th, 2009|07:08 pm] |
Sorry, this is a little late but there's still time to watch the live webcast on www.DLF.tv.
Hosted by a truly progressive university with faculty and students working in cutting-edge peace and sustainability practices, the David Lynch Weekend is not only an opportunity to hear the three-time Oscar nominated filmmaker speak, but for attendees to take part in a greater conversation about the creative process, alternative education and ways to live a better life. The weekend will feature a diverse range of speakers and performers, each with their own unique perspective on attaining the common goals of personal development, sustainability and peace.
November 13-15 at the Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa. Past years featured a Saturday night concert featuring Donovan; this year he is joined by Blues icon, Laura Dawn, and featured guest artist, James McCartney.
Enjoy! |

I'd like to make AMVs for Battle Royale, but all I can find are relatively small, English-subbed versions. Can anyone point me in the direction of direct downloads or torrents of raw, no subbed copies in high quality? |

| End of Evangelion? |
[Nov. 5th, 2009|04:19 pm] |

So, with the release of the Rebuild dub movie coming up, I've been brought back to the Evangelion fandom. <33 As a result, I've been on the hunt for the awesomely epic End of Evangelion. However, all I've been able to come by were mp4 and mkv files, but I wanted to make some clips/amv type material from it (and I'm using the dreaded windows movie maker which doesn't support either of those formats). I've used various file converters but all seemed to degrade the quality. I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a raw/dub in avi/wmv format? I prefer direct downloads but I don't mind torrents as long as their working (but I'm quite new to the concept, so maybe I'm doing something wrong and most torrents I've been able to locate don't appear to be active or are in those aforementioned formats). Any help with this issue will be massively appreciated. =3 |
